Amanda Albee

Amanda is an experienced writer and journalist with a passion for storytelling and dedication to unbiased reporting. Her voice and expertise stand out in Texas journalism, an accomplishment from a decade covering food, drinks, travel, and the arts,  She started her career as a high school English teacher and holds a Master's of Humanities from the University of Dallas in Irving. More recently, she has served as a judge for the James Beard Awards and as a Cookbook Awards judge for the International Association of Culinary Professionals. When she isn't writing, she is walking her dogs, being the best mom she can be, and dreaming up what she'll eat next.
